Indigenous Justice Worker

These services will include probation and parole supervision, Alternative Measures, and community service orders for all adult Indigenous peoples in the Kamloops and surrounding area. Additionally, offenders will be referred to appropriate Indigenous agencies or individuals based on their needs and willingness to participate.

Connecting with Elders

Through the delivery of programs based on case management models, offenders are encouraged to make necessary life changes directed towards successful reintegration within their families and their communities. They will also be encouraged to liaise with victims and build relationships with diverse criminal justice partners and stakeholders, such as:

Courts

Community agencies

Indigenous communities and organizations
